“Il Fabbro” which means ‘The Blacksmith’, is a beautiful farmhouse set in 8 acres of its own luscious wooded hillside. The house overlooks the artistic Medieval Town of Barga, cradled in the valley created by the Apuane and Apennine mountains in northern Tuscany.

Over the last 5 years “Il Fabbro” has been completely restored by local craftsmen using traditional methods and materials. We offer four double bedrooms all en-suite, with either bathtub or shower. The house has been fully centrally heated but still retains two big open log burning fireplaces. We have beautiful terraces for eating ‘Al Fresco’ and during the winter months eat inside by the log fire. Whatever your length of stay we encourage our guests to explore the land, relax the sun or just doze in a gently swaying hammock!
